London-based artist Charlie Vaughn has released the second teaser from his upcoming album, ‘I Know You (And I Know You Well)’. It’s a deeply personal cut, with a modern, guitar-led indie pop-rock sound at its forefront, combined with an artsy 60s influence that adds a playfully catchy element. “The narrator is on a trip back to somewhere familiar and deeply nostalgic to say goodbye to an old friend,” he explains. “It's about leaving the past behind to become the person you want to be. The song seemed to be the perfect start to the EP when I was sequencing the tunes and it encapsulates the general mood and feeling I had when writing the songs for this project.” The new EP from Charlie Vaughn, Thank You, Joe Fernandez, drops on November 22nd, 2024. -Dan Peeke
